We treat the card like skin.

Skin care has a rule: clean it, condition it, never strip it. A card is the same problem. Paper fibers, a printed layer, a gloss coat, and a surface that has to survive years of handling. Strip it with a harsh solvent and it dulls; soak it and it swells; polish it with oil and it goes sticky.

So GHOST was formulated the way a cosmetic chemist formulates, not the way a cleaning company does. A cosmetic chemist is the scientist in the lab who develops lotions, cleansers and creams: their job is a product that cleans and conditions without harming what it touches. We took that discipline, added the esthetician's view of a surface (look at it, know what it needs, never over-treat), and applied it to card care.

What that means in the bottle

Dual alcohol does the cleaning. It dissolves skin oil, dust film and handling grime, then flashes off in seconds. Nothing soaks in, nothing sits wet on the surface.

Buffing molecules do the finish. GHOST carries a trace of a plant-derived ester, the same light, dry-feeling molecule used in skin care because it never feels greasy. When the alcohol flashes off, a layer a few molecules thick is left on the gloss. It lets the microfiber glide instead of drag, evens out how light scatters across hairline marks so holos read brighter, and holds static down so dust does not cling. It is not a coating and it does not build up: the next wipe takes it with it.

A solubilizer holds the two together. An ester does not dissolve in water on its own, so a small amount of a cosmetic-grade solubilizer, the same kind used in toners and facial mists, keeps every spray identical from the first mist to the last.

The result is a natural finish, not a shine painted on. The card looks like a well-kept card, and the fibers underneath are left as they were, for the life of the card.

Cloth only, always. Spray the microfiber, wipe in straight passes, buff dry. The card only ever meets the cloth, which is why the method matters as much as the formula.
